A dramatic escalation in the ongoing US–Israel–Iran conflict has unfolded as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reportedly shot down two American military aircraft — an A-10 Thunderbolt II and an F-15E Strike Eagle — marking one of the most significant aerial confrontations in decades.
According to multiple defense sources, the F-15E was brought down over southwestern Iran during active combat operations.
