Tel Aviv, Israel – Central Israel lit up overnight as Iran carried out a large-scale ballistic missile strike, marking a dramatic escalation in the ongoing conflict. Despite Israel’s advanced defense systems, multiple missiles broke through, striking areas in and around Tel Aviv and igniting fires that could be seen across the skyline.
Military officials described the assault as one of the most intense launched by Iran in 2026 so far. The attack reportedly involved both standard and cluster munitions, triggering powerful explosions that destroyed cars, damaged building exteriors, and left deep craters across city streets. Thick smoke blanketed parts of the city while emergency sirens rang continuously, sending residents rushing into shelters.
Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos and fear. One resident shared that the sky appeared to “rip apart,” with explosions echoing like thunder. People had only seconds to react before debris and flames filled the streets.
