Iran’s central military command has warned of a much stronger response if civilian targets are attacked, following recent threats from Donald Trump.
In a statement, a military spokesperson said any repeat attacks on civilian infrastructure would lead to “more devastating and widespread” retaliation.
The warning comes after Trump threatened to target Iran’s power plants and bridges if it failed to reach a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
